| Aggravated Homicide |

The Aggravated Homicide Division provides direct representation to all clients facing capital prosecution. The Division also provides direct representation statewide, to clients charged with potentially death eligible homicides in which aggravating circumstances may result in the State’s filing of a Notice of Intention to Seek a Sentence of Death. |

In addition, the Aggravated Homicide Division provides in-depth assistance and training to public defenders statewide in all aspects of complex homicide litigation, including pretrial motions practice, identification of mental health and sentencing issues, and trial preparation. |
