Senator Kelley has a long history of advocating for the rights of criminal defendants and promoting justice.  Her extraordinary leadership has protected children from unfettered disclosure of juvenile records and has protected families from being criminalized just because they live in poverty.

Without her dedication to improving the criminal justice system the Office of the Public Defender would not be successful in its efforts to advocate on behalf of the Agency and its clients.
