Law Clerk & Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Office of the Public Defender Law Clerk and Legal Internships are designed to give participants exposure to the work environment of the OPD, including opportunities to observe and assist in legal proceeding sand contribute to the work of the criminal defense teams.
The program integrates law clerks and interns into all district and division offices and allows them to assume some of the same responsibilities as our full-time personnel. Click on the links below to see intern and law clerk opportunities.

Application Procedure for Law Students seeking law clerk positions: Please submit (1) a cover letter, (2) current resume, (3) a list of references, and (4) a completed Law Clerk Application for current law students (found below), electronically by emailing them, in a single email, to lawclerkJobs@opd.state.md.us.
